Lupus really does blow; I should know! I have had my trials, but all things considered, I have still been pretty fortunate with my health. Over the past two years, with your help, our family has raised nearly $8,000 to benefit the Illinois chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America. We fell just short of our goal of $5,000 last year, so we're shooting to surpass that this year. We're also looking to "grow" our team from the 23 walkers that signed up to join our efforts in 2008, so that we can celebrate with as many family & friends as possible! We hope that you'll consider joining our team or help support the cause with a small donation.
